Don’t Wait

“Now listen, you who say, ‘Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.’ Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.”

James 4:13-14 NIV.

You’re promised eternal life when you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. That doesn’t mean you’re promised tomorrow here on planet earth.

What would you do if today was your last day?

Who would you forgive? What divine chores would you finish? Would you drop to your knees and repent of something you’ve carried for far too long?

Oh, precious soul. Don’t wait to please God. Don’t wait to do the right thing, to do good.

Repent of your sins and forgive others. Remember, if you don’t forgive, you’re not forgiven. (Matthew 6:14-15.)

Love others extravagantly NOW. Love through prayer and deeds. Love by offering mercy and compassion. Love by being kind and gentle.

Let go of the past. Bring down the walls and let them crumble at your feet. No more cowering behind them in fear. That spirit of fear is NOT from God, so step over the rubble and finish what you started.

Pierce the enemy’s lies with the sword of the Spirit – the Word of God. Speak it boldly and take back what the enemy has stolen from you.

Take back your family. Take back your hope and your courage.

Don’t wait until you think your time on this earth is coming to a close to live for God.

In the blink of an eye, you could be changed, and without the time to act – the Lord may lift you up at any moment.

Remember, He’s the one calling the shots – not you.

So, run your race, brave warrior. Focus on God and run with all your might. Finish the course, and finish it well.

With no regrets. ❤️
