“But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.”
John 16:13 NIV.
You need to know the truth. You need to make a decision. You’re tired of all the opinions.
You need to know what’s coming.
Oh, precious soul, there will be times in your life when you’ll be so desperate for guidance and direction that you’ll start searching.
Be careful.
Don’t look to the stars to understand your future or someone’s prediction about your day.
Don’t listen to everything you hear on the news or believe everything you see on social media.
The enemy would love nothing more than to see you lost, wandering after half-truths and studying man’s ideas and opinions, leading you on a wild goose chase.
The path the enemy tempts you with may be running parallel to the one God has for you, but it’s still the wrong path. And the longer you stay on it, the further it moves away from God, taking you with it.
Do you really want to know the truth and what you need to do? Are you tired of getting lost, searching, and trying to figure everything out? Are you tired of this world’s half-truths causing you so much confusion and heartache?
Ask the Holy Spirit to speak to you. Pray for wisdom and discernment.
When you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, the Holy Spirit takes up residence in your heart. And He will never lie to you.
The Holy Spirit will warn you of things to come. He may even wake you up in the middle of the night to give you the answer you need.
Don’t brush Him aside like He doesn’t know or doesn’t care. The Holy Spirit is God living within you.
You don’t need to run yourself ragged trying to understand the world or your situation. You don’t have to fret or live in fear.
The Holy Spirit will tell you what to do in ALL situations. All you need to do is ask Him.
And listen.
Amen!
