Keep Going

It’s hard to keep going when you don’t see any results or to keep praying when the answers are delayed.

But that’s exactly what you need to do – persevere. Keep going. Keep praying.

Discouragement will try to settle into your bones on those difficult days. Turn your back on it and look to your heavenly Father who stands with you.

Praise Him. Sing to Him. He hasn’t abandoned you to this task, this mountain you’re climbing. He goes with you just as He goes before you. He knows the steps you need to take and how long it’s going to be until you reach the summit. Grab onto His hand and keep moving.

If you stumble, He will stop you from falling. If you struggle with the incline, He will steady you. He will be your strength.

Don’t let the enemy deceive you into believing you’re never going to make it. Remember, Satan is a liar.

The Holy Spirit, the Spirit of truth, is your guide, and He will encourage you every step of the way. Just ask Him. Tell Him when you’re struggling. Of course, He already knows. But there’s something special about admitting it to Him, that you need Him.

And when you do, a fresh wind of hope will sweep across your mountain, drying your tears, and the God of all glory will help you carry on.

It is, after all, the mountain, the journey to which He has called you.

Keep going, precious soul. You have no idea how close you are to the top of your mountain and the view that is going to be even more magnificent than you ever dreamed.

Just imagine what it will be like to stand there, to take it all in, while your heavenly Father wraps His arm around you and pulls you in even closer to Him. ❤

“The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”

Deuteronomy 31:8 NIV.
