Satan Wants to Destroy Your Relationships

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”

John 10:10 NIV.

You know Satan is a thief and a liar. He will twist and take whatever he can from you. That includes your relationships.

He’s after your relationship with your spouse, your children, your friends and family, and your church family. He will steal and destroy every connection you have with people, leaving you in a dark corner, wondering what just happened.

And then, when you turn to God for help, Satan will try to destroy THAT relationship. That’s been the enemy’s ultimate goal, to annihilate your relationship with your Heavenly Father.

Satan will lie and tell you God doesn’t care and that you deserve to be alone. The father of lies will tell you everything is hopeless, and you should give up. He will continuously whisper lies, trying to block out God’s truth.

Don’t you dare listen! God said He would never leave you, and God NEVER lies. Therefore, you are NEVER alone.

Speak the name of Jesus, and the enemy will flee. Run right into God’s arms in prayer. Your Heavenly Father is waiting for you. He wants to love you and help you to walk in His truth.

As for the other relationships in your life, bring God into them. Pray for those God has brought into your life. Pray WITH them. And ask God to make a way through Satan’s land mines – those lies the enemy has planted along your path that destroy relationships if not checked.

Check those lies. Go right to the source, directly to the person. Privately. Defuse the hidden things the enemy is using to destroy your relationship by bringing them into the light.

Some relationships only last for a season – think of a grade school friend you’ve drifted from over the years. You smile fondly at memories as you both move on, grow, and change.

Other relationships turn toxic and, after much prayer, need to be addressed or avoided. However, praying for that individual doesn’t end when the relationship does. You keep praying.

And yet, some relationships are meant to bless you for years, even decades, bringing companionship and lasting love into your life.

Your relationship with your Heavenly Father is like that, only it’s so much more – it is ETERNAL. It doesn’t end when you leave this earth. It only deepens as you see Him face to face as He dries your tears and welcomes you home.

It’s a blessed relationship – Creator and creation. Heavenly Father and precious child. It’s the most amazing, life-changing relationship you will ever know.

So, grow closer to God, dear soul, and watch the enemy’s attempts to destroy your relationships fail.

And watch and see how full your life can be.
