“I, Jude, am a slave to Jesus Christ and brother to James, writing to those loved by God the Father, called and kept safe by Jesus Christ. Relax, everything’s going to be all right; rest, everything is coming together; open your hearts, love is on the way!”
Jude 1-2 MSG.
Sometimes you just want to know everything is going to be okay.
You have faith, but it’s tired.
You’ve been battling. Constantly. Finances are stretched. Your health concerns (or those of a loved one) weigh heavily on your mind. And many of your relationships are strained as if they’re under fire.
It’s hard to sleep at night. It seems like this is a season of unraveling, and you’re not sure how to keep it all together.
Remember, precious soul, to Whom you belong. Your struggles are not going unnoticed. God hasn’t left you to deal with them alone. Open up your heart to Him. Open it wide.
Of course, these are difficult days, and the enemy is on the prowl. He wants to bombard you, using numerous tactics. He wants to discourage, frustrate, and break you.
But Jesus Christ, your Redeemer, the One who has already defeated the enemy, will keep you safe. The Holy Spirit will give you discernment about every situation you’re facing. And your Heavenly Father will guide your steps right through it all.
Be brave, dear soul, and cry out to God. Lean into your brothers and sisters in Christ. Pray together. Stand together. Encourage each other. Rest. And keep your eyes fixed upon Jesus Christ as He ties up all the loose ends, those that seem to be unraveling, and brings everything together for your good.
Everything is going to be okay. Better than okay because Jesus Christ is coming back for you.
One day soon, Love is coming to take you home.
