Let No One Miss Out

I recently watched a worship video where the presence of God saturated the audience. I felt the same as I worshiped from home.

Mostly, I had my eyes closed, but when I opened them, I noticed something.

Many in the auditorium had arms outstretched and hands lifted high, crying out. Some with folded hands appeared to be praying while others wore smiles that glowed as if Heaven cascaded its light upon them as they worshiped and praised God.

It was as if they had entered the throne room and knelt before Jesus Christ to worship Him.

“Holy. Holy. Is the Lord God Almighty. Worthy is the Lamb.”

And yet some in the audience during this worship service appeared:

Bored.

Uncomfortable.

Ready to leave.

Now, I don’t know their situations, and I may have it all wrong. But maybe I saw correctly because I had been there before during times of worship.

I didn’t know what I was missing.

So, I closed my eyes and began to worship again because I didn’t want to get swept away from God by distractions. I wanted to see the unseen and not lose the connection I’d had with the Spirit of God as He moved.

I wanted to join the saints and angels and worship our Creator God, believing that when we worship our Holy God together, things happen.

Hearts soften.

Bodies are healed.

A connection is made with Heaven and He who sits on the throne.

When we reach out to God through worship…

When we stop worrying about what our worship looks like to others in the room…

When we give God our time and full attention…

We won’t want to leave because He will be there, moving among us.

Miraculously.

Powerfully.

Gently.

We’ll hear His voice. We’ll see visions. We’ll visit Heaven. We’ll bask in the glorious light of our Savior.

We’ll adore and praise and worship the One who is worthy.

We’ll cry and laugh and dance because worship touches our souls and links us to the One who designed us inside and out.

We’ll want more of God, and we’ll understand when we ask, He gives.

Oh, my brothers and sisters in Christ, let’s ask God for more of Him and pray before we worship that ALL would come to crave and understand the power of worshiping our God together.

Let no one miss out. ❤️
